THE PEATBOG
INFERTOSA has its own peat bogs with more than 800 hectares located between Torreblanca and Cabanes, belonging to the province of Castellón.
PEATBOG OF PRAT DE CABANES – TORREBLANCA CASTELLON
We are located within the Natural Park of Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca and the extraction of the peat is done following exhaustively the norms established in the Plan of Management of Natural Resources for the area (“Plan de Ordenación de los Recursos Naturales” – PORN) and the Master Plan of Use and Management of the Natural Park (“Plan Rector de Uso y Gestión del Parque Natural” – PRUG), so we achieve to preserve and increase the biodiversity of the Park.
